Fees for Professional Services

Introduction: Requests for services by email or phone are billed either by time or per task as discussed in greater detail below.  While short questions related to a recent visit are generally answered as a courtesy with no charge, requests for additional services (writing letters, providing copies of files, analyzing new reports, providing revisions or renewals of treatment plans, etc) are billed appropriately.

Activities commonly assumed by patients to not take time, energy, and money:

  2. Reviewing the past history contained within the chart...
  3. Reviewing new data and research to determine the appropriateness of past treatment based on current knowledge...
  4. Reviewing new data and research to determine the appropriateness of current treatment based on current knowledge...
  5. Communicating by phone, letter, and email...
  6. Photocopying the chart...
  7. Corresponding with other doctors about appropriate treatments and the coordination of appropriate/optimal care...
  8. Calling the laboratory, waiting on the phone for 10-20 minutes...
  9. Calling the pharmacy, waiting on the phone for 10-20 minutes...
  10. Mailing correspondence...
  11. Re-filling the chart...

How this service works: Click the correct link and purchase your desired consultation through our secure server via YahooShopping and Paymentech.  When your payment is processed, you will receive a "top priority" email address to which you will send your query and information.  These messages are given top priority and are generally processed and replied to within 4-12 hours.  Start the process by clicking the link for your consultation and completing the secure order form.
