The next several pages provide a very brief introduction to some of the "tools" that I use in my private practice of healthcare delivery. Sometimes patients need chiropractic care, or they may benefit from a general naturopathic approach. Sometimes nutritional and/or botanical medicine are the best tools for the job of helping the patient reach his or her health goals. The more complex cases generally involve all of the above, plus a healthy dose of functional medicine to identify and address the underlying problem(s).

Of course, these are just some of the tools that I use and have described here. In my Washington practice, I also prescribed hormones, antibiotics, or other prescription medications as necessary and as within my scope of practice. Sometimes we just talk about the problems, and take more of a "counseling" approach. I also have no hesitancy to refer a patient to another healthcare practitioner if his or her condition needs additional care or intervention.

My primary goal is to help my patients to reach their health-related goals. Generally, of course, most people want help with preventing or curing health problems. Health and wellness are the goals that we work to accomplish, and we do this with all the means available to us allowed by law--whatever it takes to provide the safest and most effective improvements in health and amelioration and prevention of disease.
